Telephone System Failiure
Unfortunately the Ivybridge Medical Practice phone
system failed on Monday 27th October and Tuesday 28th
BT engineers were on site all day
repairing the fault. In this emergency situation, to
ensure that we were able to answer calls from
patients, the phone line was diverted to our
Chaddlewood site and staff members were relocated for
the day to help answer calls.

to be answered. The team were working as hard as they
could to answer calls during the last two days. We are
sorry if you were unable to get through to us.

On 1st April 2014, Ivybridge
Medical Practice merged with two other local GP
practices - Plym River and The Ridgeway Practice .
Partners from across the three practices were keen to
come together to improve patient access, choice and
support. Since then, we have been able to offer
extended opening hours, access to new services -
including a minor injuries unit and new dermatology
and muskuloskeletal services.
